Tanisha and Mann Shah come good in Mauritius event

Leander Paes and Jamie Cerretani of the US beat Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Artem Sitak 6-4, 2-6, [10-8] in the doubles semifinals of the $778,070 ATP tennis here.

In the ITF men’s Futures in Thailand, Karunuday Singh and Ronnie Schneider of the US won the doubles title

However, brothers Anirudh Chandrasekar and P.C. Vignesh were beaten in the doubles final in a similar tournament in China.



 


In the ITF women’s event in Korea, qualifier Ramya Natarajan made the semifinals with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over another qualifier Da Ye Kim of Korea.

In the ITF grade-4 junior tournament in Mauritius, Mann Shah won the boys’ title, but Tanisha Kashyap was beaten in the girls’ final by top seed Weronika Baszak of Poland. Tanisha won the doubles title with Weronika.
